I'm not resume/C.V fanatic who advocate for 100% grammar free application but I believe that resume should be complete and effective for the job application. (Please note that in the past, I have received the interview call by sending a hand written resume).
Please be careful about your resume to avoid common mistakes:
1. Subject should clearly describe the Position Name when sending against some job post or Major Skills.
2. Please go through the spelling of the major skills.
3. Try to name the resume with your complete name like Sameer Kumar Sharma(imaginary name) can named as sameerksharma.doc or .docx etc.. If you have multiple resumes in your computer then keep them in different folders to keep the same name
4. Include few major items:
a) Highlight of the professionals skills /roles (could be 2-3 like to around 10 depending upon the roles and experience)
b) Skills sets
c) Also include Skill sets used in every role, for example:
29-Jan-2012 to 19-Nov-2018, Actor at ABC Limited at Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
Skills used: Comedy, Acting, dancing, crying, fighting, Emotional scenes, Dialogue delivery
Job Duties:
29-Dec-2007 to 28-Jan-2012, Software Developer at Adventure Software at Singapore
Skills used: Apache, PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Github
Job Duties:
